United States Western Hemisphere Travel Initiative Effective January 31st, 2008

Canadian PassportThe Western Hemisphere Travel Initiative takes effect this week, and for Canadians entering the United States, proof of citizenship and identity are required. By air, a passport , NEXUS card or green card is required. Find out the rest when arriving by land or sea. Harper Pledges More Money for Africa Even While Overall Aid Declines
Prime Minister Stephen Harper wrapped his African tour pledging $105 million to a global initiative aimed at improving living conditions in Africa and promising to double Canada's aid to the impoverished continent.
